Producing a single malt Scotch Whisky, Dailuaine can be found in the Speyside region and it is steeped in history. Founded in 1852 by William Mackenzie, by the end of the 19th century, the Dailuaine Distillery was the largest single malt distillery in Speyside and also one of the most innovative in terms of design. In 1917 a fire destroyed the pagoda-roof and the distillery had to close, it reopened three years later and was bought by Distillers Company Limited in 1925. Almost 100 years later, the distillery is still producing glorious whisky with its water being sourced from The Bailliemullich Burn.
