Auchentoshan distillery is located in western Scotland, in the Lowland region. Its name, from Gaelic Achadh an Oisein, means “corner of the field.” Known as “Glasgow’s Malt Whisky” and “the breakfast whisky” for its sweet, delicate nature, Auchentoshan is located near Glasgow, at the foot of the Old Kilpatrick Hills.

Founded in 1823 by John Bulloch, the distillery has changed ownership several times. It was rebuilt in 1969 by Eadie Cairns, sold to Stanley P. Morrison in 1984, and fully acquired by Suntory in 1994.

Auchentoshan’s triple distillation process creates a delicate, sweet flavour. Which has led them to perform very well at International’s Spirit Competitions.
